MatchMyVoucher (operated by Divno Technologies, Inc.) is a housing-match platform that connects voucher holders and affordable-housing applicants with available rental units. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our website, apps, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, mobile phone number, and password.
  • Housing profile: household size, voucher type and amount, borough and neighborhood preferences, income, and other information you provide so agents can match you with available units.
  • Communication records: messages, showing invitations, and your responses (accept, decline, reschedule).
  • Technical information: device type, browser, IP address, and usage logs collected automatically when you use the Services.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To match you with available rental units and notify you of relevant openings.
  • To send transactional notifications (account, security, showing invitations).
  • To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS Messaging Privacy

If you opt in to SMS, we use your mobile phone number solely to send transactional text messages related to your MatchMyVoucher account, including:

  • Showing invitations with a personal confirm/decline link.
  • Showing confirmations and cancellations.
  • Invitation expiration notices.
  • Re-engagement when a new unit matches your saved search.
  • Account and security updates.

We do not share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS content with third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS data is used only by MatchMyVoucher and our SMS service provider (Twilio Inc.) for the limited purpose of delivering and supporting the messages described above. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, toggling SMS off in your account settings, or emailing support@matchmyvoucher.com. Reply HELP for help.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Services: with the licensed real estate agents matched to your housing search (a limited subset of your housing profile), with service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., hosting, email, SMS delivery), and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access, correct, or delete your account information from your dashboard.
  • Pause or unpublish your housing profile at any time.
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP or toggling the setting in your account.
  • Contact us to exercise rights under applicable privacy laws.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed password storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes.
